Help Desk Engineer
The Help Desk Representative provides an initial point of contact for customers and field personnel for issues regarding
hardware, software, operating systems, and proprietary applications and hardware. Responsible for the troubleshooting,
recording, analysis, prioritization, escalation, tracking, resolution and feedback of all incidents received by the high call
volume of the Help Desk.
MUST have strong customer service skills as well as computer/tech knowledge.
KEY SKILLS & PREFERRED PROFICIENCY LEVELS
Strong computer skills - Widows 98, 2000, NT, XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2008, Exchange 2003 & 2007; advanced
operating systems, LAN/WAN, Networking a plus.
Must be able to assist customers and troubleshoot systems via phone. Must be able to communicate instructions clearly.
Creativity and analytical ability is required to understand the interrelationships of the products with each other and
with the entire network.
Must have excellent customer interface and customer satisfaction management skills.
Must use knowledge base and gained expertise to analyze and resolve routine customer problems at first contact.
Position Details:
- Support complex LAN/WAN environments consisting of Microsoft network operating systems and applications such as Windows Server, Exchange and SQL
- Provide phone and remote support for end users, desktops, laptops, servers, firewalls, and various desktop applications found in small/medium size business environments
- Communicate frequently via phone and email with users ranging from end-users to IT managers
- Work with various monitoring platforms to resolve system error conditions
- Troubleshoot issues and identify upgrades and new technology requirements
Position Requirements:
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure work environment serving many different clients with different computing environments
- The ability to communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and in-person, and articulate technical projects and support resolutions to non-technical people
- Excellent problem solving capability, able to utilize all available resources to quickly resolve issues and provide best practice IT solutions
- Ability to take ownership of projects and complex problems and follow through with minimal supervision
- Ability to document work continuously through-out the day and provide detailed ticket and time sheet updates
- Take a personal interest in the technology supported and responsibility for the quality of work performed
- Desire and self-motivation to learn new technologies and stay abreast of industry changes
- Ability and positive attitude towards working with a diverse range of technology daily, including basic level user assistance and troubleshooting
- Familiar with best practice IT procedures for networks from 5 to 250 users, ability to convey essential information to clients
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- 3 or more years professional experience
- MCP, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA helpful

CSI Networks is looking to hire permanent, full-time, experienced, certified network engineers and technicians.
Qualifications:
Applicant must possess;- Proficiency with ALL Microsoft operating systems.
- Verifiable work history.
- A+ and/or Network+ certifications.
- MCP required, MCSE certification preferred.
- Great troubleshooting & communication skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass drug and background tests.
- A minimum of 3 years field experience supporting small business.
